From the Emerald Coast of Florida to NYC, Baltimore, Boston and now Cape Cod, home has always been near the ocean. Whether living in the city or a small seaside town, I’ve had a Golden Retriever by my side. After a towel dry from a day at the beach or a dip in the city park’s fountain, finding dog products that repel water and don’t absorb that “wet dog” smell has been a challenge.
That was until I purchased a recycled sail bean bag to compliment the nautical décor in our Cape home. Little did I know our Golden, Winston, would choose it as his favorite spot for naps and lounging by the window. Then came Walter, Golden #2, who as a puppy pushed his older brother aside and claimed it as his own! Seeing how much they both enjoyed the "humans" bean bag, I said to my husband, “why don’t I make them a recycled sail dog bed of their own!” And so, one brainstorm, a few prototypes and a leaky hull later - Jetty Dog was born!
Jetty Dog's products are handcrafted out of recycled sails and complimentary marine grade materials. Our uniquely designed products are sewn locally in our coastal community. Every product reflects the original character of its’ sail – unique stitching details, grommet accents, origination marks and time told imperfections.
At Jetty Dog, “recycled” and “upcycled” are at the core of who we are. We are dedicated to doing our part to limit marine debris going into landfills and the ocean. One way we do that is by transforming sails at the end of their useful life into a new generation of unique handcrafted dog products.

We believe dogs are not just pets, they’re family. We are passionate about doing our part to assist in rescuing dogs from the meat trade and kill shelters around the world. In order to support this effort we have made a commitment to donate 5% percent of our sales to the following non-profit organizations who have made it their mission to rescue these dogs and find them forever homes.
