From the Emerald Coast of Florida to the harbors and shorelines of the Northeast, life has always been shaped by the water - with a Golden Retriever by my side.
After years of beach days and swims in city parks, I couldn't find dog products that could handle water without staying wet, holding odor, or breaking down over time.
That changed when a recycled sail bean bag entered our home. Our Golden, Winston, immediately claimed it as his favorite spot, soon joined by Walter, who quickly made it his own.
Durable, easy to clean, and naturally water-resistant, it sparked a simple idea: outfit dogs with essentials inspired by sailcloth.
That moment became Jetty Dog - a brand built to outfit coastal life for dogs, inspired by reclaimed sails.
Jetty Dog's products are handcrafted in the USA from reclaimed sails and complimentary marine-grade materials. Each piece is sewn locally in our coastal community, reflecting a commitment to quality, durability, and thoughtful design.
Every product carries the character of its original sail – unique stitching details, grommet accents, origination marks and time-worn imperfections that make each piece one of a kind.
At Jetty Dog, recycled and upcycled are at the core of how we create. We are committed to reducing marine debris by giving retired sails a second life as handcrafted dog products designed for coastal living.
If you would like to contribute to this mission, we welcome donations of used sails. Clean, mildew free 5-9 oz Dacron sailcloth is preferred. As a thank you, we offer credit toward a future Jetty Dog purchase.
